About Us

The Men’s Club Soccer Team (aka Truman F.C.) was founded in 2007 to provide gentlemen at Truman State University an opportunity to play competitive soccer without the time commitment required by a varsity sport. In the fall, we play in the Kansas-Missouri Soccer League (KMSL), and in the spring we play in a tournament hosted by Kansas State. Although we hold our tryouts in the fall, if you are interested in playing we have open practices all year.

During our fall season, we practice three times a week and play eight matches. Winning enough of those matches qualifies us for the Region IV Tournament, whose winner qualifies for the National Tournament. We have qualified for Region IV several times, but are still awaiting the opportunity to go to the Nationals. In our spring season, we practice between twice and three times a week and scrimmage several times before playing in the Kansas State Tournament. Between seasons during the early winter months, we try to have some indoor scrimmages in the Truman Rec Center.

Most information is available on our website, but if you have any additional questions about the club or our team, please reach out to Gabe Fish at mensclubsoccer@truman.edu.
